Forest fire index and what it means

Open fires are prohibited on the campsite from forest fire index level 3. This message is active from level 3.
If the index of the German Weather Service (DWD) or the map of the NDR (see above, Bevern region) indicates forest fire level 3, the fireplace may no longer be lit. Please take personal responsibility!
From level 3, ‘public fireplaces or barbecue areas in and around the forest’ may no longer be used.
In addition, as usual, park in such a way that the fire brigade and rescue services can get through to the campsite and the crag!
